Who We Are

We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for Indigenous individuals within the Thamarrurr region.
We offer a comprehensive array of services, delivered in local languages, encompassing sports and recreation, youth services, school attendance support, and youth leadership development.

The ultimate objective is to cultivate future community leaders. This is achieved through various initiatives, including expanding access to educational opportunities, vocational training, and employment pathways. We collaborate closely with local elders to implement programs focused on health, skills development, and job placement for residents.

All programs and key decision making is delivered in Murrinhpatha and embedded in cultural understanding to ensure clarity and local ownership. Leadership within Thamarrurr Youth is composed of young people who have previously been involved with the organisation or represent our key values.
